<\/p>\nHOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A heavy truck fire delayed drivers on the westbound Katy Freeway before Beltway 8 on Sunday afternoon, according to Houston TranStar.<\/p>\n
Traffic cameras showed the smoke billowing from the truck as drivers were corralled into the leftmost lane.<\/p>\n

Houston TranStar’s website confirmed the three rightmost lanes were closed, and cameras showed motorists on the Katy Tollway were largely unaffected by the incident.<\/p>\n
On their website, the Houston Fire Department confirmed one of its units responded to the fire.<\/p>\n
It was not immediately clear what caused the fire and whether there were any injuries.<\/p>\n
