The Dallas Express Sports Network will learn Monday night whether its Cowboys roundtable won a 2026 Lone Star Sports Emmy.<\/p>\n
The Lone Star Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences will begin the ceremony<\/a> at 6:30 p.m. CT at Echo Lounge & Music Hall in Dallas. Doors open at 5 p.m., and dinner begins at 6 p.m. The chapter says viewers who cannot attend can stream the show through the EMMYS app.<\/p>\n The Lone Star Chapter serves all 19 television markets in Texas and presents regional Emmy awards for professional achievement in broadcasting.<\/p>\n The chapter nominated \u201cJerry Flipped The Bird \u2013 Dak Flipped The Script<\/a>\u201d in the Sports Interview\/Discussion \u2013 Single Program category. DXSN announced the nomination July 9, as previously reported<\/a> by DX. The program lists Kevin Morrell as producer and Chris Yates as host.<\/p>\n The team produced the episode before Dallas Sports Network merged into DXSN. The show focused on Cowboys owner Jerry Jones\u2019 $250,000 NFL fine for making an obscene gesture toward New York Jets fans and whether quarterback Dak Prescott had changed the conversation around his comparisons with Tony Romo.<\/p>\n Three-time Super Bowl champion Tony Casillas joined Mark Elfenbein, Will Koberg, Jaimie Kelton and Scooter Magruder for the discussion. The panel used a roundtable format to break down the fine, Prescott\u2019s play and the wider state of the Cowboys.<\/p>\n The category also includes \u201cThe Kick: \u201926 FIFA World Cup Draw Behind the Scene\u201d from FC Dallas and \u201cThe Panel with Jonah Javad: A Mother\u2019s Day Special\u201d from WFAA, according to the nominee list.<\/p>\n
