San Antonio’s\u00a0K\u00fcnstler Brewing recently collaborated with Michelin Star-winning Mixtli<\/a> on a limited-edition milk stout, La Cabrona, which dropped over the weekend. A few days later, the popular brewery announced the end of its time in the downtown area.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“We opened our doors full of sunshine, steins, and big dreams\u2026 and two weeks later, the bulldozers rolled in. Three years of fences, tractor trailers, and dust later \u2013 we\u2019ve decided it\u2019s time to call it,” the business wrote on Facebook and Instagram<\/a>. “Turns out it\u2019s hard to compete with a never-ending construction zone (especially when you show up for work and realize the sidewalk\u2019s disappeared).”<\/p>\n

K\u00fcnstler Tap Haus will hold its final service on Sunday, October 19, coordinating with San Antonio Beer<\/a> Week festivities. The flagship K\u00fcnstler Brewing location on East Lachapelle will continue to operate as usual.<\/p>\n

“But here\u2019s what\u2019s next: we\u2019re turning our focus fully back to our first home \u2013 making K\u00fcnstler Brewing even better, even more connected, and even more us. We\u2019ve always tried to listen and grow with our community, and that\u2019s where our energy belongs,” the brewery wrote.<\/p>\n

The closure of K\u00fcnstler Tap Haus comes just weeks before one of the city’s largest events, Muertos Fest<\/a>, is set to take over Hemisfair.\u00a0<\/p>\n
