ABILENE, Texas (KTXS) \u2014 A viral social media post has put Texas Roadhouse at the center of a growing online conversation, after a screenshot circulated alleging that some Black customers\u2019 food was being intentionally tampered with.<\/p>\n

The Facebook post, which was shared widely across social media, claimed members of a Facebook group called \u201cWhite and Proud\u201d were discussing intentionally tampering with food served to Black customers. Texas Roadhouse and Logan\u2019s Roadhouse were both named in the post.<\/p>\n

But the post did not identify a location, city or specific restaurant. So far, there is no verified evidence connecting the claims to a Texas Roadhouse employee. <\/p>\n

The original Facebook post appears to have been deleted, though screenshots and videos discussing it continue to circulate.<\/p>\n

As the conversation grew online, Texas Roadhouse issued a statement Sunday, Aug. 23.<\/a><\/p>\n

We believe it to be completely unfounded and we take every accusation toward our brand seriously.
