Multiple families displaced with <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RedCrossNTX?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow\">@RedCrossNTX<\/a> emergency assistance en route. There has been one injured firefighter and the situation is still developing. <\/p>\n<p>The\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/rqgMOpIo0i\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/rqgMOpIo0i<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Fort Worth Fire Department (@FortWorthFire) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/FortWorthFire\/status\/2092228931168416145?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow\">August 25, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The fire is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcdfw.com\/news\/local\/massive-apartment-fire-in-fort-worth\/4067342\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">burning<\/a> in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/6700+Calmont+Ave,+Fort+Worth,+TX+76116\/@32.7344357,-97.4737804,13z\/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0x864e732e00d0cf9f:0x371d86c89b5ff7db!8m2!3d32.7344312!4d-97.4325817!16s%2Fg%2F11zh_g4dxz?entry=ttu&amp;g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDgxNy4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">6700 block of Calmont Avenue<\/a>, near Interstate 30 and Green Oaks Boulevard, Fox 4 KDFW reported. Firefighters were called to the scene just after 6 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>At least three alarms have been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox4news.com\/news\/large-apartment-fire-burns-homes-fort-worth\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">sounded<\/a>, bringing dozens of firefighters to the scene. Traffic cameras and images from the location appeared to show the structure fully engulfed in flames.<\/p>\n<p>Thick black smoke from the fire is visible along Interstate 30 near Green Oaks Road, contributing to traffic delays in the area.<\/p>\n<p>It is not yet clear whether anyone was injured in the fire, though Fox 4 reported that at least one firefighter was taken from the scene in the back of an ambulance.<\/p>\n<p>The number of residents affected or displaced by the fire has not been released.
