Apple TV has unveiled the first trailer for Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson\u2019s new Texas-set comedy series.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cBrothers\u201d<\/a> sees McConaughey and Harrelson play fictionalized version of themselves, whose lifelong friendship is thrown into chaos when they learn that they might actually be brothers. The eight-episode series filmed in Austin last year<\/a> and premieres on Sept. 23.<\/p>\n

Trailer released for \u2018Brothers\u2019<\/p>\n

The thrust of the trailer begins with Harrelson and his family arriving at McConaughey\u2019s Texas ranch after Woody\u2019s daughter\u2019s wedding falls apart.<\/p>\n

Things get interesting when McConaughey\u2019s mother, played by Holland Taylor, accidentally reveals that the two friends might actually be brothers. Punches are thrown, a bottle is smashed over Harrelson\u2019s head and general hilarity ensues over the next few moments.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is all very dramatic,\u201d Harrelson\u2019s wife Joy (played by Brittany Ishibashi) says.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course I\u2019m dramatic, I\u2019m a [expletive] thespian,\u201d Harrelson says back.<\/p>\n

As far as Texas references go, there\u2019s a few.<\/p>\n

A Texas flag is seen in the background of a few shots. Harrelson and McConaughey are seen at a rodeo, and at one point, the latter appears to be wearing a bull riding vest.<\/p>\n

The pi\u00e8ce de r\u00e9sistance is Harrelson wearing a \u201cWillie for President\u201d hat. This is, of course, a reference to country music icon Willie Nelson, who is from Abbott, Texas.<\/p>\n

\u201cBrothers\u201d premieres Sept. 23 on Apple TV.<\/p>\n
