EL PASO, Texas (KTSM<\/a>) — South Desert Boulevard at Transmountain will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 31 as part of the I-10 Widening West project.<\/p>\n

There will also be a series of closures overnight along the Border Highway (Loop 375), starting Sunday, Aug. 30 through Thursday, Sept. 3.<\/p>\n

These are some of the more noteworthy closures scheduled by the Texas Department of Transportation for the week of Aug. 31.<\/p>\n

I-10 Widening West Phase 2<\/p>\n

Monday, Aug. 31<\/p>\n

9 p.m. \u2013 6 a.m.<\/p>\n

South Desert at Transmountain full closure<\/p>\n

Detour: Traffic to use Spur 16 to Isela Rubalcava.<\/p>\n

Crews will be working on asphalt placement patch repair.<\/p>\n

Loop 375 Rehabilitation Project<\/p>\n

Sunday, Aug. 30 \u2013 Thursday, Sept. 3<\/p>\n

8 p.m. – 6 a.m. (Nightly)<\/p>\n

Loop 375 (Border Highway) west and eastbound between Fonseca and Oregon alternating lanes<\/p>\n

Loop 375 (Border Highway) westbound off-ramp to Paisano (Exit 20) full closure<\/p>\n

Loop 375 (Border Highway) westbound off-ramp to US-54 North and I-10 West one lane closure<\/p>\n

Crews will be working on rip rap and guardrail.<\/p>\n
