EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 On Saturday morning, the Border Network for Human Rights partnered with the El Paso Police Department to host its second community forum on policy knowledge. <\/p>\n
According to BNHR officials, the goal of the forum was to provide the community with a better understanding of the Internal Disciplinary Review Board, use-of-force policies, and the Crisis Intervention Team.<\/p>\n
Some of the questions they were asking had to do with family violence, had to do with response times, had to do with immigration. Different topics that affect them on a regular basis, and I think we had a very good conversation; 1788116053 they better understand. The next BNHR forum will be held Thursday, September 10, at 6:00 p.m. at the Johnson Community Center.<\/p>\n
