Police charged him with online solicitation of a minor, which they identified as a third-degree felony.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives executed an arrest warrant and a search warrant at Fouse\u2019s Richardson home. Officers took him into custody without incident, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Richardson police began investigating Fouse on August 20 after the National Center for Missing &amp; Exploited Children sent the department a tip.<\/p>\n<p>Police said detectives continue to work with Richardson ISD as they gather additional information. The department has not publicly identified the minor or released further details about the allegations.<\/p>\n<p>Richardson ISD learned of Fouse\u2019s arrest from police and immediately placed him on administrative leave, WFAA <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfaa.com\/article\/news\/local\/north-texas-high-school-teacher-charged-online-solicitation-of-minor-police\/287-2e48121a-3ca1-4cec-b7ea-0823074e97ce\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe district will continue to cooperate fully with the Richardson Police Department as it conducts its criminal investigation,\u201d Richardson ISD said. \u201cRISD will take all appropriate and necessary action based on the findings of these investigations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The ongoing criminal investigation and personnel matter limit what the district can disclose, according to Richardson ISD.
