Investigators think the woman may have been dumped there.

Von Ormy utility workers found the woman near the 13800 block of I-35 and Benton City Road, and she is believed to be in her late 20s or early 30s. Investigators say she had only been at the scene for a few hours.

Salazar said there were no obvious signs of trauma. The sheriff said the area has frequently been used to dump bodies in connection with smuggling, though it is unclear whether that played a role in this case.

Stay tuned to 550 KTSA and FM 107.1 for the latest in this developing story.

More about:

Bexar County Sheriff’s Office – Sheriff Javier Salazar announces body found in Von Ormy (September 1, 2026) SAN…

[8
4240,31526,23655,82,84,83,98
post-423149","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-san-antonio","tag-bexar-county-sheriffs-office","tag-dead","tag-javier-salazar","tag-san-antonio","tag-san-antonio-headlines","tag-san-antonio-news","tag-woman
["GET
