Beto O\u2019Rourke made some stops in the Bishop Arts District last week.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, Aug. 25, the Texas Democrat picked up \u201ca lox on a sesame bagel with scallion schmear, capers, tomatoes and onions\u201d from <a href=\"https:\/\/oakcliff.advocatemag.com\/2025\/08\/trades-delicatessen-showcases-timeless-style\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Trades Delicatessen<\/a> for breakfast, according to an article by the Dallas Morning News.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Rourke was in North Texas for events with Powered by People, a political action committee he founded in 2019, at the University of North Texas in Denton on Aug. 25, and later traveled to Tarleton State University in Stephenville on Tuesday, Aug. 26.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, Bishop Arts made a mark on O\u2019Rourke.
