The city placed no parking signs Sept. 1 along a section of 10th street near Iron Avenue, and is located near the DART Silver Line<\/a>.<\/p>\n The section was recommended to be a no parking zone to remove visibility obstructions for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians near Cotton Belt Trail per city documents<\/a>, and violators may be fined.<\/p>\n The background<\/p>\n Plano City Council approved the zone Aug. 24 at a regular meeting. DART\u2019s Silver Line opened in October 2025<\/a>, which included the 12th Street and Shiloh Road stations in Plano.<\/p>\n The DART Silver Line\u2019s Cotton Belt Trail is planned to extend into a 57-mile hike-and-bike trail from Plano to downtown Fort Worth.
