But for people with a milk allergy or severe sensitivity, eating the candy could cause a serious or potentially life-threatening allergic reaction, the FDA said.<\/p>\n No illnesses had been reported in connection with the recalled products as of the FDA’s\u00a0Aug. 31 announcement. Still, Crystal Temptations urges consumers to “destroy” any recalled Chocolatey Eyeballs they may have at home.<\/p>\n Refunds are not available at the point of sale, but Crystal Temptations will issue them directly to consumers who provide proof of purchase.
