HOUSTON \u2013 A man was hospitalized after being randomly struck by gunfire outside a southwest Houston restaurant late Saturday night, according to the Houston Police Department<\/a>.<\/p>\n The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. near Beechnut Street and Corporate Drive. Investigators said a man and his nephew became intoxicated inside the restaurant, prompting security and the owner to ask them to leave.<\/p>\n Once outside, the suspect reportedly went back to his vehicle, retrieved a firearm and began shooting toward the business. A man in his 30s, who was outside with a witness, was hit in the torso and leg. Police said the victim was not believed to have been targeted.<\/p>\n The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.<\/p>\n Investigators have identified the suspect, who is believed to be in his 50s, but no arrests have been made.
