The collision occurred in the 4700 block of Interstate 35 South<\/p>\n

SAN ANTONIO \u2013 A man died after he was involved in a crash with a crane truck Sunday evening on the South Side, according to San Antonio police.<\/p>\n

Officers responded around 5:19 p.m. to the 4700 block of Interstate 35 South, which is located near West Southcross Boulevard.<\/p>\n

Authorities said a man, who was yet to be identified, was driving a Kia Forte southbound when he struck a crane truck on the driver\u2019s side of his vehicle. <\/p>\n

Police said the man was unresponsive at the scene and was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.<\/p>\n

At this time, it\u2019s unclear what caused the driver to hit the truck.<\/p>\n

The crash remains under investigation. Further information was not readily available. <\/p>\n
