(September 8, 2026)\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) \u2014 A woman in her 70s is dead after she was hit by a car while crossing the street Tuesday morning on the North Side.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"208\" data-end=\"292\">The crash happened just before 11:30 a.m. near Thousand Oaks Drive and Uhr Lane.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"294\" data-end=\"415\">Police say the woman suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead in an ambulance while being taken to a hospital.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"417\" data-end=\"561\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The driver stopped and tried to help the woman and is cooperating with investigators.
