The retail section of a mixed-use project in Allen and Denton County Civil Courts relocation are in progress. Check out some of the latest construction filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.<\/a><\/p>\n

1. Methodist Richardson Medical Center expansion<\/a><\/p>\n

Methodist Richardson Medical center is adding a three-story tower with mechnical space and an imaging suite on the first level, a 25-bed intermediate care unit on the second and shell space on the third, per a TDLR filing. Construction is estimated to take roughly a year to complete.<\/p>\n

Location: 2831 E. President George Bush Highway, RichardsonEstimated timeline: Dec. 1, 2026-Dec. 30, 2027Estimated cost: $64 million<\/p>\n

2. Denton County Civil Courts relocation<\/a><\/p>\n

Denton County Civil Courts is relocating into an existing five-story office building in Denton, per a TDLR filing. The office used to be the corporate headquarters for Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. before the company relocated to Plano at the end of 2025, per previous reporting<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Location: 3001 Colorado Blvd., DentonEstimated timeline: Dec.1, 2026-March 31, 2028Estimated cost: $60 million<\/p>\n

3. Wistron AI supercomputer<\/a><\/p>\n

The Taiwan-based company, Wistron InfoComm Corporation, is creating interior office buildout on two levels of an existing building and constructing new parking, fencing, landscaping and water service, per a TDLR filing. The space will be used as one of two supercomputing facilities at AllianceTexas, according to a Hillwood news release. The two facilities will bring more than 800 jobs to the region, per previous reporting.<\/p>\n

Location: 14601 Mobility Way, Fort WorthEstimated timeline: Nov. 1, 2026-April 30, 2027Estimated cost: $50 million<\/p>\n

4. Sloan Corners retail – Buildings A<\/a>, B<\/a> and C<\/a><\/p>\n

Three of four new retail buildings will be under construction as part of the mixed-use project Sloan Corners<\/a> in Allen, per a TDLR filing. Facilities will be constructed for shell restaurant and retail space along with outdoor patios. The whole development is planned to be 480 acres across Allen and Fairview, per previous<\/a> reporting.<\/p>\n

Location: Lot 1, Blocks A-C, Sloan Corners Retail, AllenEstimated timeline: Oct. 6, 2026-Nov. 1, 2027Estimated cost: $11.8 million (total for 3 buildings)<\/p>\n

5. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center McKinney dietary department expansion<\/a><\/p>\n

Baylor Scott & White<\/a> Medical Center McKinney is expanding and renovating its dietary department, per a TDLR filing. The center has been working on expansions since 2025, per previous<\/a> reporting, with plans to add a seventh and eighth floor to the hospital.<\/p>\n
