Law enforcement officials from the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, Houston Police Department and Harris County Sheriff’s Office announced Sept. 8 that three suspects have been arrested following a multi-agency investigation into seven aggravated robberies in the Houston area.

Three men have been charged for their alleged role in at least seven aggravated robberies at businesses in the area, authorities said Tuesday.

The suspects — 22-year-old Francisco Alexis Rosales-Puente, 21-year-old Wilfredo Perez and 19-year-old Ian Mohammed Dakkak — were arrested following a coordinated, multi-agency investigation, according to Fort Bend County Sheriff Eric Fagan.

“Investigators later determined the incidents were connected to similar robberies under investigation by the Houston Police Department and Harris County Sheriff’s Office,” Fagan said during a Sept. 8 press conference.

Investigators said firearms were allegedly used during the robberies, which occurred at multiple food trucks and businesses including Smoothie King and Wing Stop.

Dakkak faces both a charge of aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, and forgery involving between $30,000 to $150,000 dollars, a third-degree felony and remains in Fort Bend County Jail on a $300,000 bond, according to jail records. Rosales-Puente faces a charge of aggravated robbery, but was not in custody at Fort Bend County Jail as of early Wednesday morning.

Perez was arrested in late August and faces three counts of aggravated robbery in Harris County and remains in the Harris County Jail on a $110,000 bond, according to jail records.

Fagan said the investigation remains active with the multiple agencies are looking for potential connections to other crimes through similar methods of operation and vehicle descriptions. Officials said they can expect further arrests occurring in the future related to this investigation.

When it came to tracking down the multiple suspects, Fagan made it a point to mention that deputies used Flock cameras during the investigation and addressed public scrutiny when it comes to the tracking device. In July, ABC-13 reported a Fort Bend County lieutenant admitted to using Flock cameras to look up one license plate 41 times and another plate more than 140 times from January 2022 through December 2025, the lieutenant reportedly admitted the searches were not related to official law enforcement work.

“People have to understand that the Flock cameras that we use, we’re using for license plates,” he said. “The Flock cameras take what’s on the outside of the vehicle. We’re not violating anybody’s Fourth Amendment rights searching vehicles on the inside, the Flock camera just captures the information, the plate number, the color of the vehicle, things like that.”

Houston Public Media/Melissa Enaje Law enforcement officials from the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, Houston Police Department and…

[7
83943,294,3367,149726,70550,149727,56,58,57,149728,223
post-430671","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-houston","tag-aggravated-robbery-charges","tag-crime","tag-fort-bend","tag-fort-bend-county-sheriff-eric-fagan","tag-fort-bend-county-sheriffs-office","tag-harris-county-sherffs-office","tag-houston","tag-houston-headlines","tag-houston-news","tag-houston-police-departament","tag-news
["GET
