Feigin, MD Award for Excellence, given by The Immunization Partnership.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Wells, DrPH, MPH, is director of the Lubbock Public Health District. She will receive the award during The Immunization Partnership\u2019s 16th Annual Luncheon at Hotel ZaZa Houston Museum District.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The award honors leaders who champion education and advocacy to prevent vaccine-preventable diseases.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cDr. Katherine Wells exemplifies the leadership and commitment to public health that inspires our work every day,\u201d said Rekha Lakshmanan, executive director of The Immunization Partnership. \u201cHer dedication has made a lasting impact on communities across West Texas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KCBD.
