Texas Regional Bank (TRB) has a new branch on Jefferson Boulevard.<\/p>\n

The location is specifically part of TRB Financial, a new core banking division dedicated to expanding access to relationship banking. The division is designed for those whose financial circumstances may not align with traditional banking requirements, providing differentiated credit strategies, ongoing financial education and integrated community partnerships.<\/p>\n

\u201cTRB Financial allows us to expand into communities with limited access to financial services and provide a more accessible path to the products, guidance, and relationships that support economic progress,\u201d said Michael Scaief, Chairman and CEO of TRB, in a press release. \u201cOak Cliff is the first step in a strategy we intend to build over time.\u201d<\/p>\n

The location was selected as the first market of the new division amid the continued local investment. TRB specifically cites the City of Dallas\u2019s efforts of economic development initiatives<\/a>, such as the Oak Cliff Gateway Tax Increment Financing District.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cBanking relationships should be centered on community and earned through trust and action,\u201d he said in a press release. \u201cWe\u2019re here to understand our customers, listen to their aspirations, and invest in their financial progress. That\u2019s what brings us to Oak Cliff, and that\u2019s what TRB Financial is really about.\u201d<\/p>\n

A ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony is expected in the coming months, according to the press release.
