The home is being marketed as \u201cCasa de Ondas,\u201d which means \u201cHouse of Waves\u201d in Spanish. The mansion doesn\u2019t look like your typical Dallas home, said Alex Perry, a listing agent for the property.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt doesn’t feel like you’re in Dallas when you’re in the home and using the home,\u201d Perry said. \u201cAnd I think that was the idea \u2014 the sight lines that look into nature and give you privacy when you’re in the heart of Dallas.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCasa de Ondas\u201d was listed for $45 million on Aug. 31, according to Zillow, making the home one of the most expensive listings in Dallas-Fort Worth<\/a>. The listing is being handled by the real estate firm\u00a0Perry Wisdom Barrett Narosov<\/a> of Allie Beth Allman & Associates.<\/p>\n

The mansion is at 5547 Walnut Hill Lane in\u00a0Crespi Estates, a gated community in Preston Hollow with just four residences, according to a news release. The home is near the Crespi Estate, Dallas\u2019 most expensive home listing<\/a> with a listing price of $64 million. The Crespi Estates neighborhood was created from a portion of the original\u00a0Crespi Estate property.<\/p>\n

The home\u2019s waved roof was inspired by the surrounding tree canopies, according to the news release. The home opens to a living space with a double-sided fireplace and a bar anchored by an 8,000-pound island of marble. The home includes a pool with a slide, over 5,000 square feet of covered terraces and garden space.<\/p>\n

The home was built and conceptualized over a four-year period and was completed in 2025. The mansion was designed by the South Africa-based architecture firm SAOTA and Ghost Architects. Builder Steve Hild, Ink & Oro Interiors, Hocker Design and lighting designer Lux Populi also worked on the home. The home received the Texas ASLA Honor Award for award winning design in 2025.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s rare to see someone who built a custom home put it up for sale, especially this soon, Perry said. But getting a brand-new home is an advantage to the buyer, he said.<\/p>\n

The Everett family is selling the home, Perry said. Scott Everett is the founder of the Dallas-based firm S2 Capital. The company owns dozens of apartment buildings in the D-FW area, some of which have faced foreclosure<\/a> this year as apartment owners face challenging market conditions.<\/p>\n

The Dallas Central Appraisal District lists the home\u2019s owner as the CHJP Revocable Trust. The appraisal district placed the home\u2019s value at $15.5 million for tax purposes.<\/p>\n

Perry said the sellers decided the nearly 13,900-square-foot home was more space than they needed and found that they were happier living in a smaller home.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cSomeone’s getting incredible value,\u201d Perry said. \u201cSomeone usually doesn’t build at this quality to sell this soon.\u201d<\/p>\n
