The man confronting the adjunct professor was identified as Alex Rosen, founder of the Houston-based organization Predator Poachers, which conducts sting operations on adults who seek sexual activities with minors. The sting operations are streamed on Kick and posted to YouTube for entertainment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Rosen reportedly entered the classroom with a film crew around 11:30 a.m. while the professor was lecturing, and the class was dismissed. Students later saw Rosen sitting with the professor. The entire confrontation was live-streamed. The professor is on video admitting to buying child porn and messaging minors.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thedailycougar.com\/2026\/09\/10\/breaking-professor-removed-amid-child-sexual-abuse-material-allegations\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">The Cougar reported<\/a> that after the allegations went public, UHPD removed the adjunct faculty member and Ph.D. candidate from campus. The University is currently investigating the allegations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe University of Houston is aware of a concerning video involving an adjunct faculty member who is also a graduate student. The video involves discussion of child sexual exploitation and child sexual abuse materials,\u201d said a University spokesperson told The Cougar. \u201cUH Police responded to the place where the video was being made in progress.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The University of Houston further addressed the allegations on the morning of Sept. 11. According to the statement, the University is contacting the Harris County District Attorney about the allegations.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We take allegations involving child exploitation, abuse and child sexual abuse materials extremely seriously,&#8221; according to a Friday morning statement from the university. &#8220;We have zero tolerance for this type of activity, and the individual was immediately suspended from the classroom.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Rosen <a href=\"https:\/\/abc13.com\/post\/university-houston-faculty-member-suspended-citizen-predator-sting\/19817614\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">told ABC13 Eye Witness News<\/a> that his group has been messaging the adjunct professor since March. Rosen said that his team identified themselves as a 13-year-old and alleged that the professor solicited sex acts through Discord messages. Rosen then revealed that, after the professor bailed on a meetup agreed upon through messages, the predator group decided to confront him on campus.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We waited for him to stop talking and then we went up and basically pulled him out of class.
