Austin gets one of the biggest college football games of the entire season Saturday night when No. 1 Ohio State visits No. 4 Texas at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. The Buckeyes are the defending national champions, but the Longhorns get this heavyweight matchup at home, with Arch Manning leading a Texas team that has every reason to believe it can make a championship run of its own.<\/p>\n
For Texas fans, this is the kind of game that makes last-minute tickets worth checking out. Matchups like this do not come around often, with the No. 1 team in the country, a top-five Longhorns squad, and one of the biggest names in college football all sharing the same field in Austin. Texas is a slight favorite heading into this one, and the atmosphere should match the stakes from the moment fans start filling DKR. If the Longhorns are going to make an early-season statement, doing it against Ohio State in front of a packed home crowd would be about as big as it gets.<\/p>\n
