{"id":435329,"date":"2026-09-14T06:10:10","date_gmt":"2026-09-14T06:10:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/435329\/"},"modified":"2026-09-14T06:10:10","modified_gmt":"2026-09-14T06:10:10","slug":"dallas-trinity-fc-holds-of-dc-power-fc-in-second-half-for-second-win","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/435329\/","title":{"rendered":"Dallas Trinity FC holds of DC Power FC in second half for second win"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dallas Trinity FC defeated DC Power FC, 2-1, on Sunday at Cotton Bowl Stadium for its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/fc-dallas\/article\/dallas-trinity-fc-dominates-brooklyn-fc-22419708.php\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">second consecutive win<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/dallas-trinity-fc\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Trinity\u00a0FC<\/a> opened the scoring in the 42nd minute on a goal by Onyeka Gamero off a rebound, giving Dallas a 1-0 lead at halftime. The goal was Gamero\u2019s second of the season.<\/p>\n<p>Dallas came out\u00a0of the break strong and doubled its lead in the 56th minute. Defender Cyera Hitzen played a through ball to forward Jasmine\u00a0Hamid, who rounded the goalkeeper and finished the chance to give Dallas a 2-0 advantage. It was Hamid\u2019s third goal of the season.<\/p>\n<p>DC Power FC scored in the 66th minute to cut into Trinity FC&#8217;s lead, but Dallas was able to see the game out after that.
