A heat advisory issued for most of southeast Texas starting at 11 am ending at 6 pm as feels like temperatures climb as hot as 110! <\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" role=\"presentation\"  style=\"object-fit:cover;max-width:1920px;max-height:1080px;aspect-ratio:1.7777777777777777;width:100%\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/CFF4QDXONRFSJNKYBTOGRK35QM.jpg\"\/>Monday 11 am to 6 pmLate Week Toss Up:<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">I\u2019m tracking a low-pressure system that will move into the Gulf late in the week; as it approaches, it could feed more moisture west into Houston, which would increase rain chances. The latest first hurricane to form was Gustav and Humberto, which formed on September 11th. Temperatures are near average for this time of year, and do you see the end of the 10-day? There is a chance we get our first cold front of the season Sunday the 20th.
