Darian Alexandre Rangel, 17, was found dead with gunshot wounds<\/p>\n

SAN ANTONIO \u2013 A missing teenager, previously subject of a discontinued AMBER Alert, was found dead last week on the North Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.<\/p>\n

SAPD said Darian Alexandre Rangel<\/a>, 17, was found dead Friday around 7:50 p.m. with gunshot wounds in a field of grass near Wurzbach Parkway and Vista Del Norte.<\/p>\n

Rangel\u2019s death is connected with the decomposed body found with gunshot wounds<\/a> on Saturday, according to SAPD. <\/p>\n

Rangel\u2019s<\/a> AMBER Alert was discontinued Sunday by the Texas Department of Public Safety.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Rangel\u2019s death was ruled a homicide by a medical examiner. His death is being investigated as a murder, a SAPD preliminary report said.<\/p>\n

DPS issued a alert on Sept. 10 to locate Rangel who was last seen on the West Side Sept. 7.<\/p>\n
