On Saturday, he joined country artist\u00a0Shaboozey on stage in Dallas during the latter&#8217;s show at South Side Ballroom.<\/p>\n<p>The duo performed their recent collaboration &#8220;Burn It Down,&#8221; which came out in July as a single for Shaboozey&#8217;s latest album\u00a0The Outlaw Cherie Lee &amp; Other Western Tales. A social media post from the venue said the duo also performed &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/arts-entertainment\/music\/2019\/12\/03\/leon-bridges-and-khruangbin-announce-new-ep-texas-sun-and-heres-the-first-track\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Texas Sun<\/a>,&#8221; Bridges&#8217; popular 2019 song with Khruangbin.<\/p>\n<p>Bridges appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy\u00a0Fallon\u00a0just\u00a0last week and performed a medley of &#8220;Light the Way,&#8221; &#8220;Illusion&#8221; and &#8220;Talk It Over,&#8221; three songs off his upcoming album.<\/p>\n<p>Before his late night performance, Bridges made a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/food\/restaurant-news\/article\/leon-bridges-show-elephante-uptown-dallas-22407668.php\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">surprise appearance<\/a> in late August at a\u00a0preopening party for Italian restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/food\/restaurant-news\/article\/elephante-italian-uptown-dallas-dining-22403357.php\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">\u00c9lephante<\/a> in Uptown Dallas.<\/p>\n<p>Bridges dropped four songs from the 12-track <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/arts-entertainment\/music\/article\/leon-bridges-new-album-jungle-happiness-anytime-22354185.php\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">Happiness Anytime<\/a>\u00a0in both July and August ahead of the full album&#8217;s release on Sept. 25.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Fort Worth singer has been staying busy ahead of the release of his album Happiness Anytime.
