The advanced ticket sellout marks the third already for the 2026 season, and there’re no signs of slowing as Texas Tech is already less than 500 tickets away from selling out for the October 17 home game against Arizona State.

The regular season ends with a home game at 7 p.m. on Thanksgiving night where they’ll face the TCU Horned Frogs.

If you are interested in catching any of these games before they sell out, you can purchase tickets online or by calling the Athletics Ticket Office at 806-742-8324 (TECH).

Don’t worry if the game you wanted to see in person sold out. Fans can use SeatGeek as Texas Tech’s official secondary ticket provider to explore more options.

Texas Tech vs. Houston

Friday’s matchup between Texas Tech and Houston is set to kick off at 7 p.m. at Galaxy Stadium. If you can’t make it to watch in person, you can always catch the action live as coverage will be provided on FOX and the Texas Tech Sports Network.

Red Raider fans are excited for Friday’s game for many reasons, one of which being that Texas Tech has won each of the previous seven matchups dating back to 2010 when the Red Raiders won 35-20 at Galaxy Stadium (known as Jones AT&T Stadium at that time).

Here’s a bit of trivia for you: Texas Tech’s first-ever game against Houston was in October of 1951 when the Red Raiders suffered a 0-6 loss from the Cougars.

So, congrats to Texas Tech for selling out yet another home game! Let’s make this Friday a game to remember by extending the win streak against Houston to eight, shall we?
