Alyssa Dinh was one of seven players selected for the Preseason All-UAC Team. Dinh’s placement on the All-UAC Preseason Team marks the third consecutive year the Texans have had representation on a preseason all-conference team.

She had a season-high 11 kills on a .733 hit percentage against Sam Houston (9/10). That hit percentage ranks fifth on the program’s all-time list for single match hit percentage.

After missing the first six matches, Dinh quickly took over the Texans and became one of the most impactful front-row players in the WAC last season.

She closed the season with 86 kills and an attacking percentage of .286. Her 1.51 kills per set made her one of the WAC’s most efficient attackers.

Tarleton State has five opponents in its non-conference slate that finished in the top 100 in the NCAA’s RPI Rankings last year (UCSB, Arizona, Rice, North Texas, West Virginia).

The Texans have three 2025 NCAA Tournament teams on its schedule (Arizona, Rice, Central Arkansas). Arizona and Rice both advanced in the big dance a year ago.
