Mount Houston Road at about 5:30 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the suspect took off during a traffic stop and got on the roof of a home, refusing to come down.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">In an update, Pct. 1 said the suspect was on an electric bike and ran a stop sign before fleeing from deputies as they tried to approach him. HCSO said deputies deployed a taser on the suspect before he ran off.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">SkyEye13 flew over the active scene and spotted a man sitting on a home&#8217;s roof. At some point, the man can be seen going down a ladder after speaking with officers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Deputies said it was not the man&#8217;s home and that they were able to talk the suspect down peacefully.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">HCSO said the suspect faces an evading arrest charge.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 KTRK-TV.
