Cottonbelt Trail is passing another step in its construction and Texas Health Allen Hospital is replacing equipment for its nuclear medicine facility. Check out some of the latest construction filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fit-out for Terminal C renovations at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport<\/a><\/p>\n

The Dallas Fort Worth airport<\/a>\u2019s Terminal C will receive interior fitout renovations for baggage claim, a security checkpoint, concessions white boxes, offices, restrooms, break rooms, back-of-house renovations, ready rooms and gate hold lounges per a TDLR filing. The renovations are part of a larger project estimated to be finished in 2030, per previous<\/a> reporting.<\/p>\n

Location: 2040 North International Parkway, DFW Airport<\/p>\n

Estimated timeline: March 1, 2027-2030<\/p>\n

Estimated cost: $100 million<\/p>\n

Cottonbelt Trail construction in Plano<\/a><\/p>\n

About 3.16 miles of a hike-and-bike trail are planned from north of the President George Bush Turnpike to Shiloh Road, per a TDLR filing. The trail is part of a larger project to connect Plano to downtown Fort Worth, per previous<\/a> reporting. Construction for a portion of the trail to connect Addison to Plano started in spring 2025.<\/p>\n

Location: DART Silverline Rail<\/p>\n

Estimated timeline: May 1, 2025-April 28, 2027<\/p>\n

Estimated cost: $18.4 million<\/p>\n

Surgery center in Frisco<\/a><\/p>\n

A new surgery center will be under construction in Frisco with some of the current work including a one-story office building with brick on metal studs, per a TDLR filing. Frisco\u2019s planning and zoning commission approved<\/a> the medical facility along with two professional office buildings in Oct. 2025.<\/p>\n

Location: Southwest corner of Wyndham Lane and Whistle Stop Lane<\/p>\n

Estimated timeline: Nov. 30, 2026-Dec. 1, 2027<\/p>\n

Estimated cost: $5.3 million<\/p>\n

Nuclear medicine equipment replacement at Texas Health Allen<\/a><\/p>\n

A nuclear medicine facility at Texas Health<\/a> Allen Hospital will replace its equipment and receive interior finish renovations per a TDLR filing. The nuclear medicine area produces images to provide a diagnosis and plan treatment for health problems, according to the Texas Health website<\/a>. A Texas Health spokesperson said the project has not started despite the filing timeline.<\/p>\n

Location: 1105 N. Central Expressway, Allen<\/p>\n

Estimated timeline: Aug. 1, 2026-April 1, 2027<\/p>\n

Estimated cost: $1.7 million<\/p>\n

Facility renovations at Denton Center<\/a><\/p>\n

A facility within Denton Center will receive interior and exterior remodeling, per a TDLR filing. The 26,710 square-foot space is expected to take roughly two months for its remodeling.<\/p>\n

Location: 908 W. University Drive, Denton<\/p>\n

Estimated timeline: Dec. 7, 2026-Jan. 29, 2027<\/p>\n
