According to Houston Police Department, the man had just left a nearby corner store when he encountered an unknown individual. A confrontation broke out for reasons that remain unclear, and the suspect opened fire \u2014 striking the victim in the ankle and buttocks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Despite his injuries, the man was able to make his way back home and call for help. Houston Fire Department transported him to a nearby hospital. His injuries are considered non-life-threatening.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">As of now, the shooter has not been identified.
