HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Homicide detectives are looking into a person’s death after they said a body was found in a creek in southeast Houston on Wednesday morning.

The Houston Police Department confirmed the body was found in a creek off Office City Drive in the Pecan Park neighborhood at about 7:25 a.m.

An ABC13 crew and SkyEye13 captured detectives responding to the scene, where an apartment complex bordered one part of the creek with a park on the other side.

It’s unclear at this time how long the body had been there or how the person died.
