{"id":438291,"date":"2026-09-17T01:32:16","date_gmt":"2026-09-17T01:32:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/438291\/"},"modified":"2026-09-17T01:32:16","modified_gmt":"2026-09-17T01:32:16","slug":"greater-houston-area-home-sales-on-the-decline-spring-klein","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/438291\/","title":{"rendered":"Greater Houston area home sales on the decline | Spring &#8211; Klein"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to the August monthly housing update from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.har.com\/content\/department\/mls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Houston Association of Realtors<\/a>, the number of single-family home sales has decreased by 11.5% across the Greater Houston region.<\/p>\n<p>The breakdown<\/p>\n<p>With the decrease in single-family home sales, affordability rates for home owners saw year over year growth for 22 of the last 25 months, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.har.com\/content\/department\/mls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">HAR data shows<\/a>.
