Madisonville Christmas Company has opened its first North Texas location in Plano as the holiday retailer begins its fourth season and refreshes its flagship campus in Madisonville. <\/p>\n
The company is entering the 2026 holiday season with two major changes: a new seasonal pop-up in\u00a0Plano and a refreshed Madisonville flagship. The expansion extends a business model built around holiday d\u00e9cor, dining, events and overnight stays beyond its original location and into the Dallas-Fort Worth market. The company also is expanding its online store <\/a>and plans to offer more seasonal events. <\/p>\n The\u00a0Madisonville location features a 30,000-square-foot showroom with 6,000-plus\u00a0curated pieces, two\u00a0dining spots, The Lawn gathering space and the Yuletide RV Park with Christmas-themed casitas and RV\u00a0sites.<\/p>\n Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n Here’s what to know about the 2026 season:\u00a0<\/p>\n How did it start?\u00a0<\/p>\n The 11-acre Madisonville campus opened in September 2023 just off Interstate 45.<\/p>\n Founder Ashley\u00a0Rentz and\u00a0Ami Hutchings, chief commercial officer,\u00a0met in the decor and design industry. Hutchings worked in floral and seasonal decor for 30 years before the Christmas store launch.\u00a0<\/p>\n Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n Rentz has a background in decor and she and her husband have been a part of Christmas decorating for 25 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n Christmas has always been a special time in each of their families. Rentz comes from a large family and she was inspired to open the Christmas store based on some of her family traditions and memories.\u00a0<\/p>\n “My grandmother was a wonderful decorator. She passed that on to me and that has always been a huge love for us,” Rentz said. “It’s about the traditions families look forward to every year \u2014 decorating the tree together<\/a>, seeing Santa, sharing a meal, listening to Christmas music and simply having time to be together.”<\/p>\n She said aside from decorating, they wanted to create a place where coming to\u00a0Madisonville could become part of a family’s Christmas tradition.<\/p>\n SPACE ACADEMY POSSIBILITIES: Can Conroe compete to be the site of Trump’s new Space Academy? Leaders want to find out.<\/a><\/p>\n Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n What is the Madisonville campus about?\u00a0<\/p>\n The main showroom offers themed spaces curated by Hutchings\u00a0and filled with artificial trees, garlands, wreaths, ornaments, ribbon, floral designs, oversized statement pieces and tabletop and mantel d\u00e9cor.<\/p>\n The facility launched with the showroom, then expanded with Caf\u00e9 twelve25, The Mantel and The Lawn for yard games and outdoor seating, live music and seasonal programming.<\/p>\n Then came the year-round\u00a0Yuletide RV park<\/a> with more than 30 RV sites and eight Christmas\u00a0casitas.\u00a0<\/p>\n “We saw an opportunity to create something that was missing,” Rentz said. “There are beautiful Christmas stores, and there are holiday attractions, but we wanted to bring great design and a meaningful family experience together in one place.
