Relatives told police they had not heard from the couple for an extended period of time.<\/p>\n<p>When officers arrived, they found a woman with a gunshot wound and a man with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said. GPPD said both adults, whose relatives identified as married, were pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>GPPD said it is investigating the incident as a family violence murder-suicide.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Police said they found a man and a woman dead while responding to a welfare check.
