Those campuses include Harlan, Sotomayor, and Taft high schools; Straus Middle School; and Reed, Mireles, Scarborough, Kallison, and Henderson elementary schools.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are currently experiencing an outage affecting phone and internet service at several of our campuses,&#8221; the school district shared in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/NorthsideISD\/posts\/pfbid0bhbdKSf7zAqsiFCeCoeqBYPqz6wqiLBKRA75HcAUovbJzvxPFMYcUnqs3YbdVs5dl\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">Facebook post.<\/a> &#8220;We have been assured that crews are currently working to restore service as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding,&#8221; it continued.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Barry Perez, Northside ISD&#8217;s Assistant Superintendent for Communications, shared with MySA that crews are still working to address the issue after a fiber cut caused widespread data outages that occurred sometime this morning before 10 a.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, schools will continue to operate on a backup phone system as crews attempt to locate the cut within the schools&#8217; grid system.
