A piece of Houston nightlife is up for grabs about a month after closing its doors.<\/a> After six years of late nights as Kamp<\/a>, the former club and restaurant is ready for its next act and now up for sale or lease.<\/p>\n

Houston realtor Juliana Perez posted a video of the space at 6025 Westheimer Rd. on social media Wednesday. It didn\u2019t take long for Houstonians to recognize it as Kamp, the popular club that permanently closed following noise complaints.<\/p>\n

Kamp, famously known as a Houston go-to for Drake and other celebrities<\/a>, opened in 2020. In August, the club confirmed rumors of its closure after operator ALife Hospitality Group said it failed to come to terms on a lease extension and “ongoing sound and parking challenges” with neighbors, as Chron previously reported.<\/a><\/p>\n

“RIP Kamp,” one person wrote on Instagram.<\/p>\n

“Finally that neighborhood will be quiet,” another said.<\/p>\n

Some predict that it won’t be long before another club moves in<\/p>\n

Perez told Chron she isn’t the property\u2019s official listing agent, but shared her video of the space after viewing it for a client. According to Perez, Kamp\u2019s former home is listed through Orr Commercial.<\/a> The property isn’t listed on the real estate agency’s website but a LoopNet listing<\/a> identifies the company as the contact and describes the space as “ideal for a restaurant or retail operator looking to capitalize on the density and affluence of the Galleria trade area.”<\/p>\n

Built in 1988 and formerly home to Beavers, the 5,920-square-foot building sits on a 0.95-acre lot with 65 parking spaces. The listing says the rental rate is available upon request, but a text response to the phone number Perez shared in her post described the fully built-out restaurant and bar space as available for roughly $30,000 per month, all in, or for purchase at $5.19 million.<\/p>\n
