In July, the outdoor venue\u2019s operating company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection to reorganize finances and stop a scheduled foreclosure sale. Two months later, the venue and three nearby properties are on the market as part of the bankruptcy case.<\/p>\n
Hilco Real Estate, which is marketing the portfolio<\/a>, says the properties \u2014 all in the Guadalupe River corridor \u2014 can be purchased piece by piece or as a whole. Prospective buyers must submit bids<\/a> by September 22.<\/p>\n Whitewater Amphitheater is the crown jewel of the four-property portfolio. The nine-acre site, adjacent to Camp Fimfo, accommodates 5,600 concertgoers who can sip adult beverages at a two-story bar and beer garden.<\/p>\n The amphitheater\u2019s \u201criverfront setting provides a distinctive experience that cannot be replicated by a conventional concert venue,\u201d Hilco says in a release<\/a>.The other properties up for sale are:<\/p>\n Hideout on the Horseshoe<\/a>, a 19-cabin riverfront compound and wedding venue on four acres near Canyon Lake. \u201cA spacious riverfront patio and covered open-air pavilion provide \u2026 opportunities for gatherings, private events, and experiential programming,\u201d Hilco says.Whitewater Condos<\/a>, a more than 1-acre property featuring three short-term rental units and direct access to the Guadalupe River. The property also includes a one-bedroom apartment and serves as the primary put-in point for Andy\u2019s River Toobs.A 1.5-acre property, adjacent to the amphitheater, that\u2019s home to Andy\u2019s River Toobs<\/a>, a tube rental business, and Jay & Diane\u2019s Horseshoe Grill<\/a>, a burger joint.
