A new Wingstop<\/a> will open in east Fort Worth, according to state licensing documents<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Wingstop is a fast-casual national chain known for their chicken wings, fries and a cult following for their ranch. There are over 2,700 U.S. locations<\/a>, with Texas home to 18 percent of them \u2014 more than any other state.<\/p>\n

While the company already has several Fort Worth stores, the newest will join a strip mall anchored by Planet Fitness and the Dollar Tree.<\/p>\n

When will the new Wingstop open in Fort Worth?<\/p>\n

According to the filing, construction for the new Wingstop will begin in December with a targeted end date in March 2027.<\/p>\n

No official timeline has been released, as the project is in very early stages.<\/p>\n

Construction includes new interior partitions, walls, floors, ceiling finishes, lighting and electrical systems.<\/p>\n

Where will the new Wingstop be in Fort Worth?<\/p>\n

The newest Wingstop will be located at 2526 Oakland Blvd. in Fort Worth.<\/p>\n

Ha Ha Buffalo Wing and Lickin’ Fried Chicken Fort Worth are the nearest chicken places, within a mile of the new digs.<\/p>\n

This follows the opening of Fort Worth Mobile Food Court<\/a> off Berry Street in the nearby Stop 6 neighborhood.
