The brand&#8217;s name is derived from &#8220;Indian River.&#8221; The company sells vehicles manufactured in the U.S. directly to consumers and commercial customers. <\/p>\n<p>Rivian also partners with Amazon for its electric vans. Company officials recently announced a partnership with Uber to provide 10,000 fully autonomous robo-taxis.<\/p>\n<p>What we know<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tdlr.texas.gov\/TABS\/Search\/Project\/TABS2026019877\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation<\/a>, the project to build an EV station began June 16 and is expected to be completed by mid-June 2027. The estimated cost for the project is $330,000.
