However, one was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the HOV lane.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">The driver stayed at the scene until emergency crews arrived. EMS transported the injured teen to a hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">The incident caused multiple lane closures on the southbound, inbound Diamond Lane of Interstate 45 North Freeway, just after Louetta Road, according to Gonzalez.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">Drivers were urged to avoid the area and consider alternate routes while first responders worked at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-dLMFU sc-fHjqPf jbiTJv kYFPaL article-text\">No charges have been filed.
