Plano<\/a> extended their home winning streak to nine games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Bella Osborn<\/a>. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Prosper Eagles<\/a> 3-2 thanks in part to Osborn, who had 24 digs and four aces. She has been hot, having posted 16 or more digs the last five times she’s played.<\/p>\n

Plano got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maren McCardel<\/a> out in front who had 21 assists and eight digs. Those 21 assists gave McCardel a new career-high.<\/p>\n

Plano was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they’ve now served at least five aces in three consecutive matches.<\/p>\n

Plano’s victory bumped their record up to 25-9. As for Prosper, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That’s put a noticeable dent in their 15-17 record this season.<\/p>\n
