Recently, the Houston Chronicle named it the No. 1 restaurant in town in 2025, and Food &amp; Wine backed that up, ranking <a href=\"https:\/\/secrethouston.com\/food-and-wine-houston-most-exciting-place-eat-america\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_self\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/secrethouston.com\/food-and-wine-houston-most-exciting-place-eat-america\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_0\" data-category=\"click_internal\">Aga\u2019s as the top spot<\/a> in what they called America\u2019s most exciting culinary destination.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recently, Aga\u2019s went global. According to an Uber Eats email reviewed by the Houston Chronicle, Aga\u2019s had the platform\u2019s highest order volume worldwide in 2025 among single-location restaurants. That distinction applies to individual restaurants operating from one location, rather than multi-unit restaurant brands or chains.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Houston Indian and Pakistani establishment prepares around 2,000 takeout meals daily and Business Insider reported that its flagship location serves more than 4,000 customers a day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Aga\u2019s CEO, Shaukat \u201cSal\u201d Maredia, this is not the restaurant\u2019s first rodeo. Maredia told the Houston Chronicle that Uber Eats had informed him Aga\u2019s had held the No. 1 single-location position for at least three years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s a staggering feat for an independent eatery. Rather than spreading delivery demand across a large network of outlets, Aga\u2019s has built one of the platform\u2019s highest-volume delivery operations from its Houston flagship kitchen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The menu focuses on traditional South Asian dishes, with signature options including goat chops, biryanis, and chicken lollipops. To handle the demand, the team also operates a takeout-only outpost in Katy, which itself processes around 700 orders daily. according to Yahoo. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to its unwavering success, Maredia has signaled plans for further takeout-focused growth in Greater Houston. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aga\u2019s presently has two locations in the Houston area; its flagship is located at 11842 Wilcrest Dr. with a takeout-exclusive location at 102 W Grand Parkways S. in Katy.
