Areas north of I\u201110 saw the coolest and driest conditions on Saturday but all of us will start to notice the humidity returning on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>   First Day of Fall <\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">The first day of fall is Tuesday. The autumnal equinox is at 7:04pm. It will be feeling a lot more like summer in Houston with forecast highs in the mid-90s. We usually don&#8217;t get \u2018fall-like\u2019 temperatures until the middle and end of October, so we have a few more weeks.<\/p>\n<p>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/img_4485.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" fetchpriority=\"auto\" width=\"932\" height=\"524\" data-v-2fe2fe3e=\"\"\/>  Tropical Outlook <\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">Tropical Storm Fay has formed in the eastern Atlantic. It will be a short-lived system that stays out to sea. This is the sixth named storm of the season.
