What to know about closures, DART in Addison"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Getting around <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/addison\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Addison <\/a>will look different as the city prepares to kick off its annual Oktoberfest on Thursday, Sept. 17 at Addison Circle Park.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Road closures and temporary traffic restrictions will be in place during the Bavarian-inspired festival. For those who choose to not drive, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/dart\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">DART\u2019s <\/a>Silver Line will offer more frequent service during the festival.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The four-day event runs from Sept. 17 to 20, with several streets scheduled to close Thursday and reopen throughout the day Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Some road closures have been in place since Monday, including Festival Way from Addison Road to Quorum Drive and Addison Circle from Addison Road to\u00a0Witt Place.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Addison Circle from Witt Place to Beckert Park closed Thursday morning. Witt Place from south of the parking garage to Addison Circle also closed, and both roads are scheduled to reopen at 10 p.m. Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The following road closures run Thursday through 7 p.m. Sunday:<\/p>\n<p>DART\u2019s Silver Line trains will run every 30 minutes Thursday and Friday from 2:30\u00a0p.m. to midnight, and on the weekend from 10:30 a.m. to midnight.
