Dallas-Fort Worth is home to seven of the best hotels in the world<\/a>, according to Michelin\u2019s latest roster of Michelin Keys<\/a>.<\/p>\n Hotels earn Michelin Keys similar to how restaurants earn Michelin Stars<\/a>, with visits by anonymous inspectors. Michelin says its selected hotels \u201cexcel in design, architecture, service and personality.\u201d<\/p>\n The 2026 list of Michelin hotels with one, two or three Keys was released Sept. 18. On it, 359 properties are in the United States<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n Which D-FW hotels received Michelin Keys?<\/p>\n Six D-FW hotels retained Michelin Keys after receiving awards in 2024<\/a> and 2025<\/a>. One is new to the list: the Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas. The hotel opened in the 1980s as the Four Seasons. It was rebranded as a Ritz in 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n The highest-distinction North Texas hotel on the Michelin Keys list is Bowie House in Fort Worth, an Auberge Resorts Collection property. The Bowie House earned two Keys, Michelin\u2019s designation for \u201can exceptional stay.\u201d<\/p>\n The Bowie House is D-FW\u2019s only two-Key property. \u201cIt just might be the most stylish building in Fort Worth,\u201d according to the Michelin website, and it\u2019s \u201csurely the city\u2019s most extraordinary luxury hotel.\u201d Bowie House is one of three hotels in Texas that earned two Keys. It was also featured in Taylor Sheridan’s oil-and-gas show, Landman<\/a>.<\/p>\n Bowie House opened in Fort Worth’s Cultural District in 2023.<\/p>\n Contributed\/BOKA Powell<\/p>\n The second Fort Worth hotel with Michelin designation is Hotel Drover in the Stockyards, which received one Michelin Key.\u00a0<\/p>\n Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n The Drover was lauded as \u201cunmistakably Texan but without crossing too far into kitsch,” Michelin said. Perfect match, then: The Drover was also shown in Landman.<\/p>\n “Your spaces should appear as though they evolved over time, just as you have,” said Kayla Wilkie, who led the design of Hotel Drover. Pictured: the library in the Hotel Drover lobby.<\/p>\n Courtesy Hotel Drover<\/p>\n The remaining four one-Key hotels are in Dallas.<\/p>\n Casa Duro on Dallas\u2019 Greenville Avenue is the tiniest D-FW recipient, as it has three suites. \u201cIf we\u2019re honest,\u201d Michelin inspectors wrote, the guest quarters above sibling restaurant Sister<\/a> \u201cmight be too small to be properly considered a hotel.\u201d That didn\u2019t keep the company from awarding it one Michelin Key because of Casa Duro\u2019s \u201cpainstakingly collected\u201d interiors full of character.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
