LUBBOCK, Texas \u2013 UT Arlington women’s golf is competing in its second tournament in as many weeks, readying for the Red Raider Invitational. The two-day tournament is set to begin Tuesday at The Rawls Course in Lubbock.<\/p>\n

UTA is coming off a sixth-place finish in their season debut at the Lady Clerico. The team shot a 57-over-par 921, an effort highlighted by Camilah Porras<\/a> finishing tied for sixth individually while Carmen Gonzalez Lo-A-Njoe<\/a> finished tied for 10th.<\/p>\n

The Mavericks made one change to their lineup. Nirjara Gulhane<\/a> will make her season debut, subbing in for Kylie Ruston<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tTied for sixth individually at the Lady Clerico in her UTA debut, the best mark on the team.
\n\tThe sophomore finished with a 10-over-par 226, highlighted by a 1-over 73 in the opening round that featured 13 pars.\u00a0
\n\tPorras birdied five holes overall and finished as the lone Maverick to not record a double bogey or worse on any hole. <\/p>\n

Carmen Gonzalez Lo-A-Njoe<\/a><\/p>\n


\n\tGonzalez Lo-A-Njoe finished tied for 10th individually after shooting a 12-over 228, both the best marks of her UTA career.
\n\tThe senior shot an even-par 72 in the first round, the lowest single-round score of her UTA career and the lowest score for any Maverick at the Lady Clerico.
\n\tFinished tied for second place after the first two rounds of the tournament after shooting a 3-over 147.
\n\tCarded a team-high seven birdies overall and shot a 1-under 35 on the back nine during the first round. <\/p>\n

Chloe De Verner<\/a><\/p>\n


\n\tDe Verner finished tied for 19th overall and third on the team at the Lady Clerico, which marked her UTA debut.
\n\tShot a 19-over 235, including back-to-back 6-over 78’s in the second and third rounds.
\n\tThe Odessa College transfer recorded five birdies \u2014 tied for the second-most on the team \u2014 and made par on 12 holes in the second round. <\/p>\n

Raeley Hickman<\/a><\/p>\n


\n\tHickman tied for 29th place individually in her collegiate debut after shooting a 23-over 239.
\n\tThe freshman’s tournament was highlighted by a 5-over 77 in the first round that featured 13 holes in which she made par or better.
\n\tBirdied four holes, including back-to-back birdies on the 12th and 13th holes in the second round. <\/p>\n

Nirjara Gulhane<\/a><\/p>\n


\n\tGulhane enters the Maverick lineup for the first time of the 2026-27 season.
\n\tThe senior has spent all four years with UTA.
\n\tCompeted in 24 rounds across eight tournaments during the 2025-26 season, holding a scoring average of 80.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
