Dress to impress or dress to kill \u2014 take your pick. The midday affair presented the pinnacle of style in the Bayou City.<\/p>\n<p>It was a true fashionista\u2019s moment as some 800 women and sprinkling of men filled the ballroom of the Post Oak Hotel, heads swirling as each contemplated the fabulous fashions, the fashion faux pas and the costumes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2400\" height=\"1600\" class=\"size-full wp-image-754313 img-responsive \" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/0043_PaperCityBestDressedLuncheon_MCW_091526.jpg.webp\" alt=\"Paper City\u2019s 2026 Best Dressed Luncheon\"  \/>Lauren Randle, Alla Thomas, Roslyn Bazzelle Mitchell at PaperCity Philanthropy in Fashion Best Dressed 2026 (Photo by Michelle Watson, CatchlightGroup.com)<\/p>\n<p>Aside from the fashion focus, the purpose of the event including introduction of the 2026 Houston Best Dressed honorees and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.neimanmarcus.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Neiman Marcus<\/a> fashion presentation, centered around raising funds for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marchofdimes.org\/ways-to-give\/rooseveltsociety\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">March of Dimes<\/a> and its mission of improving access to maternal and infant health care for all. This valiant effort produced an impressive windfall with the record proceeds reaching $1.4 million.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1707\" height=\"2560\" class=\"size-full wp-image-754307 img-responsive \" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/0027_PaperCityBestDressedLuncheon_MCW_091526-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Paper City\u2019s 2026 Best Dressed Luncheon\"  \/>Elizabeth Carol, Chelsea Collmer, Kendall Plank at PaperCity Philanthropy in Fashion Best Dressed 2026 (Photo by Michelle Watson, CatchlightGroup.com)<\/p>\n<p>The honorees and their chosen ensembles left an unforgettable impression. That would be Ann Ayre and Amanda Boffone both opting for Dior; Erica Littlejohn Burnette in Carolina Herrera; Myrtle Jones in <a href=\"https:\/\/schiaparelli.com\/en\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Schiaparelli;<\/a>\u00a0Ellecia Knolle in Proenza Schouler gown topped with a jacket by Prada;\u00a0Amy Pierce in Chanel; Susan Plank in a Chanel skirt and Carolina Herrera blouse; Leigh Smith and Allison Thacker both in Carolina Herrera. (First-time Best Dressed honoree Gillian Sarofim was out of the country and could not attend.)<\/p>\n<p>Applause for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.papercitymag.com\/society\/caroline-herrera-takes-tilman-fertitta-billionaire-presidential-suite-houston\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Carolina Herrera<\/a> as the label turned out to be the most favored among the honorees.
