Ella Langley\u2019s<\/a> \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d smash notched a 23rd week atop the Billboard Hot 100<\/a> on Tuesday (Sept. 22), and the country star celebrated breaking the record for having the the most weeks at No. 1 <\/a>on the U.S. chart with a heartfelt video posted to Instagram thanking her fans.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m genuinely trying to find the words to help explain what\u2019s going on in my brain today,\u201d she began. \u201cThank you so much for loving this song, for listening to it\u2026 I\u2019m running out of hyperboles to describe how I feel.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLangley continued: \u201cJust thank you so much, it\u2019s changing my life, it\u2019s changing the lives of the writers of this song. It\u2019s changing the lives of my family and it is truly growing an atmosphere for something I\u2019m gonna be able to do the rest of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 27-year-old singer explained that she planned to take a break and enjoy the night celebrating with her team. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cToday doesn\u2019t feel like a real thing,\u201d she added. \u201cIt feels fake and somebody\u2019s gonna be like, \u2018Ha ha, we\u2019re kidding the whole time.\u2019 I\u2019m gonna go out and celebrate tonight. I\u2019m really excited to just experience a moment like this in my life. Just thank you so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLangley wrote in the caption: \u201c23 weeks Texas forever.\u201d Before reflecting in a video from her backyard on IG, she reacted briefly with a post to her IG Story <\/a>hours earlier Tuesday, calling the achievement \u201cabsolutely insane.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d debuted in the top 40 of the Hot 100<\/a> at No. 39 in November and surged to spend 23 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1, which dethroned Mariah Carey\u2019s<\/a> \u201cAll I Want for Christmas\u201d as the record-holder.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Ella Langley train doesn\u2019t appear to be slowing down either: She\u2019ll return to the stage on her Dandelion Tour in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Thursday.<\/p>\n
